It's CTAE Week!

It’s CTAE Week at ECCHS, and we couldn’t let it slip by without giving these super-talented educators a shout-out and thank you for all their hard work day in and day out around here. Some of their major accomplishments and collaborations this year include:

* Creation of the Blue Devil News Network through AVFT, in collaboration with Web Design and Journalism also offering live-streaming capabilities for school events-- over $30,000 worth of equipment received through ESENetworks;
* Partnership with Mollertech and our Metals program on possible externships and internships as well as review of curriculum for both the design lab and manufacturing lab
* Partnership with EGA and the granite industry in collaboration and instruction of the MonuCad system with assistance in securing software and equipment
* Creation of the Student Ambassadors through Secretary of State Brian Kemp & JROTC and their projects and collaboration with our local government agencies for voting awareness -- "making your vote count"
*Addition of an AP Computer Science course for our students through the work of Code.org and Mr. McCarty
*Creation and construction of Blue Devil Weather Station and App through our Metals and Environmental Science instructor

There’s plenty more, but you get the idea, right? We are so proud of our CTAE folks: Nick Beshiri, Deana Crook, April Eubanks, Casey Freeman, Al Homer, Ed Lovin, Nat McCarty, Constance Reid, Lori Starrett, Michael Williams, and our CTAE Director, Kim Fuller.
