On Friday, March 17, State School Superintendent Richard Woods traveled to Elbert County to visit and tour Elbert County Comprehensive High School (ECCHS). While visiting the school, he was able to hear from educators, students, and others about what is working and how the Georgia Department of Education can be of service. The campus tour included both core and elective environments and illustrated the numerous ways ECCHS students are challenged to achieve more as local and global citizens.
The Elbert County School District and Board of Education was was honored to host Superintendent Woods and show him the many ways that ECCHS is working to ensure student success in being "College and Career Ready." It was another great day to be "Blue Devil Proud!"
