New School Year Message from the Superintendent

Chuck Bell

Welcome to a new school year! Teachers, administrators, and support staff of the Elbert County School District are excited and energized to welcome students back to school on Thursday, August 3. Our preparations for the new school year have been excellent and quality instruction will begin on Day 1.

Like all successful organizations, the Elbert County School District is focused on continuous improvement and reinventing itself to better serve its customers…our students. In the last year, we have engaged the entire school community in a strategic planning process that yielded a 5-year strategic plan known as the Framework for Success. The plan addresses the school community’s demand for rigorous academic programs, expanded partnerships, continuous professional learning and growth, and the effective integration of technology into all K-12 teaching and learning processes.

As I enter my fifth year as your Superintendent, it continues to be a great honor to serve you, and to work alongside you to provide the finest educational experiences possible for our students. I firmly believe with all of us working together, the best days of the Elbert County School District lie before us.

Sincerely,

Charles E. Bell, Superintendent
