ECCHS is pleased to announce the members of the 2018-2019 Local School Council:

Mrs. Janna Bennett, Mrs. Shemeya Brown, Mrs. Tracy Brown, Mrs. Janet Ingle, Mrs. Leslie Johnson, Mrs. Kari LeBarron, and Mr. Rodney Willis

Our meetings will take place in our Library Media Center at 5:30 PM, and all are welcome to attend. Specific concerns, issues, suggestions or questions, may be presented to any member of the committee, or any ECCHS Administrator. Meeting dates are as follows: September 24, October 29, November 26, February 25, March 25, April 29.

Congratulations to our ECCHS 2018-19 Teacher of the Year, MSG Allan Homer! MSG Homer is a vital part of our JROTC program in our CTAE Dept., and we know he will represent us well at the district level!

From our Guidance Counselor Mrs. Almond: "Attention College-Bound Students! ECCHS will be administering the SAT and ACT several times during the 2018-19 school year. Please see the attached link to view all the testing dates at our school. The first SAT will be given on Saturday, August 25th, with the registration deadline of July 27. ECCHS Rules Update for 2018-2019 PrincipalsPen

In an effort to ensure that we maintain both our attention to instruction and the safety of our learning environment, the following rules will be enacted and monitored for academic year 2018-2019:


  1. Cell phones will only be allowed to be utilized before the 8:00 AM tardy bell, during 3rd Block lunch, and after the 3:00 PM dismissal dell. No cell phone use will be allowed during an instructional block, and phones should be kept in a secure location.

  2. No head covering of any sort....
