Miss ECMS Pageant

The Elbert County Middle School Pageant was established in 2007. Since its inception, the pageant has grown each and every year. It provides of the young women of Elbert County Middle School with the opportunity to represent their school and make a difference in their community. Participants in Miss ECMS learn interview skills and stage presence and build friendships and camaraderie with each other. The pageant is NOT a popularity or beauty contest. The competitors are judged on poise, personality, school involvement, scholastic honors, and community involvement.

Each year, three winners are crowned. The Sixth Grade Representative and Seventh Grade Representative are crowned from contestants in the sixth and seventh grades, respectively. Miss ECMS is crowned from the eighth grade contestants. All winners receive a crown, sash, and flowers. The Sixth and Seventh Grade winners receive a $250 Savings Bond. Miss ECMS receives a $500 Savings Bond.
