Welcome!
The
Elbert County School
System provides students
with an exemplary educational
experience.
The Elbert
County School District provides
a progressive, innovative
quality education to over
3,000 students in grades
preschool through 12. This
public school district is
comprised of one high school,
one middle school, 5 elementary
schools, an alternative
high school and middle school
program, and a continuing
education program. The district
is located in Northeast
Georgia across the Savannah
River from South Carolina. |

ECCHS would like
to congratulate Channing Ruff, who
has been named STAR Student for
2012, and Mrs. Nadine Wright, who
has been named STAR Teacher.
The PAGE STAR Program honors Georgia's
highest achieving high school seniors
and the teachers who have been most
instrumental in their academic development.
To obtain the STAR nomination, high
school students must have the highest
score on any single test date of
the three-part SAT taken through
the November test date of their
senior year and be in the top 10
percent or top 10 students of their
class based on grade point average.
Each high school STAR student is
asked to name his/her STAR Teacher.
