The Transportation Department of Elbert County School District provides school bus transportation for more than 2,500 students in our district and covers 3,000 miles per day. Bus transportation of these students operates in compliance with policies and procedures established by the State of Georgia Department of Education and the local Elbert County Board of Education. Our department strives to provide safe, reliable, and efficient transportation for students to and from school and school-related activities; and to promote student transportation as a front-line support service delivering students safely, on time, and in a frame of mind ready to learn. - Briana Armour
