Elbert County School District

The Elbert County School District has partnered with ESS to manage the substitute teacher program. Substitutes are employees of ESS and not the Elbert County School District.   Placement of a person’s name on the list is contingent upon that person completing the employment training requirements of ESS and the Elbert County School District.  All substitutes must pass a criminal background check before being permitted to substitute.  A background check fee of $45.00 is the responsibility of potential substitutes. The Elbert County School District reserves the right to deny the opportunity for an employee of ESS to substitute within our district.
