Set up a meeting with the
Student teachers, admin, parents,
And the school psychologist. (Role of MTSS Coordinator at the school)

Before requesting consent to evaluate, the student must go through the tiers of intervention. (Use data to determine the intervention needed.)

If the student has received interventions and gone through tier 2 and tier 3, THEN GO TO THE NEXT STEPS.

Bring all intervention data.
Grades, behavior, and attendance
Observation data from teachers.
GMAP, EOG, EOC, etc.

Go through your MTSS process. If they are not making progress, move to the next step.

If they are making progress, continue with the tiers, possibly going down the tiers.

Review data to see progress.

If the child does not have interventions, interventions must be delivered while waiting to be tested

Testing dates will be set up within 45 days, and the eligibility meeting will be done within 60 days of the signed consent

Students must be returned to their interventions/tiers.

****We accept evaluation requests until the end of March of each school year due to the number of evaluations that must be completed by the end of the school year. If parents request it, we will hold an MTSS meeting to determine when the student will be evaluated, if needed, at that meeting.
