  • Hey Everybody!

    My name is Corrie Padgett and I am the Instructional Coach here at
    ECPS. This will be my first year serving as the Instructional Coach,
    and I am honored to be able to do so. Here is a little more
    information about me.

    Schooling:
    I attended Elementary, Middle, and High School here in Elbert County. After graduating from ECCHS, I attended Lander University in Greenwood, SC where I played softball. I graduated in 2007 with my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education. I then went to Piedmont University and received my Masters degree in Early Childhood Education, and my Specialist Degree in Teacher Leadership. I also have my gifted endorsement.

    Background:
    I have been teaching for 15 years. My first year 6 years I taught at Commerce Primary School where I taught Pre-K and Kindergarten. I moved back to Elberton in 2014 as a Kindergarten teacher at Elbert County Primary. I moved to teach First Grade during the 2019-2020 school year. This will be my first year as the Instructional Coach. 

    Get to know me:
    I was born and raised here in Elbert County and am a proud graduate of ECCHS.  I have been married for 13 years, and we have two boys who are 11 and 6. We spend most of our days on the ball field somewhere!
