ECCHS is pleased to announce that sophomore Sawyer West has been selected as Elbert County’s HOBY Ambassador for 2023.

The Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) Program is the nation’s only program exclusively designed for high school sophomores. As America’s foremost youth leadership organization, HOBY has a long history of successfully motivating young people to develop into outstanding leaders. At ECCHS, students are selected based on a written application and teacher recommendations, and must demonstrate potential leadership ability. As our HOBY Ambassador, Sawyer will attend a weekend seminar in June with other students from all over the state. Congratulations, Sawyer!
